The Affidavit of Temporary Exit (DST) and the Affidavit of Exit of Money and/or negotiable financial instruments (DJDS) can be generated using the Welcome to Peru APP, reported the Sunat.
The DST allows the passenger to declare, in advance of his trip, those assets such as laptops, cell phones, tablets or other items that he will take out of the country and that are not on the list of exemptions from paying taxes or that exceed the amount specified as franchise , with which, if you acquire a similar good abroad, you can enter it without paying taxes.
Meanwhile, the DJDS allows you to comply with the obligation to declare, upon departure from the country, cash or if you have checks, certificates, promissory notes, among others, for amounts greater than $10,000 or its equivalent in national or other foreign currency.
These services are available in the APP Welcome to Peru from 48 hours prior to the trip.
For this reason, it is recommended to carry out the procedures in advance, to facilitate and reduce the attention times when you must go through the controls of the Sunat, indicated the supervisory entity.
When the process is completed, the declarations will be sent to the email declared by the passenger, leaving a record of their presentation, the tax administration specified.
