As of December 1, the Shipper and Carrier Electronic Remittance Guide (GRE) may be issued only from Sunat Online Operations (SOL), the APP Emprender mobile application and via the Taxpayer’s Electronic Issuance Systems (SEE), reported the tax administration.

Consequently, the GRE cannot be issued using an electronic service operator (OSE). The GRE is a document that is used to support the transfer of merchandise and with this new issuance model these operations will be streamlined, avoiding errors at the time of their generation and reducing, for greater benefits, the issuance time. Likewise, it will have a QR code with which the transfer of the goods will be supported, and its printing will not be necessary. The Sunat also stressed that the mandatory use of the GRE will be progressive as of January 1, 2023.
